„Maybe the glow-up we’re all chasing isn’t about being someone else… it’s about finally letting ourselves be seen.“
Last week, we covered the outer glow—skincare, style, confidence you can see. But let’s be real: the real glow starts within.
This week, we’re going deeper.
Because that woman? She doesn’t just glow on the outside. She radiates from the inside—because she knows who she is, what she wants, and what she’ll no longer tolerate.
I was sipping my oat milk cappuccino the other morning, hair in a messy bun (the cute-but-chaotic kind), when I had that thought: I’m ready to become her.
By summer 2025, I’m not just glowing—I’m evolving.
This is Part 2 of the journey.
And if you’re reading this… maybe your glow-up starts here too.
The Internal Glow-Up: Where the Real Magic Happens

You can’t become her if you don’t know who she is.
So I got clear. I journaled it out—What does she wear? What does her morning look like? What does she believe about herself? What does she think, laugh and cry about?
She’s the kind of woman who protects her peace by saying no with love. Who doesn’t chase—she attracts. She’s on my vision board, her music in my playlist, and slowly, I’m becoming her.
The old me was a bit of a mean girl… to herself.
Now, I question that inner voice. I ask:
“Would I say this to my best friend?”
If the answer is no, why say it to myself? That gorgeous women in my journal? She is not mean to herself.
Affirmations might sound cliché, but hey—so did oat milk lattes, and now look at us.

This is my golden rule.
Act like her. Now.
Even when I don’t feel ready. Even when I’m bloated, overwhelmed, and wearing mismatched socks.
I ask myself:
What would That Woman do today?
And then I do it—even if it’s just drinking water, texting back with boundaries, or walking like I have a French lover waiting around the corner.
The glow-up starts with what you consume—and I don’t just mean green juice. I’ve swapped doomscrolling for soul scrolling—books that expand me, podcasts that inspire me, and voices that actually uplift.
It’s one personal growth book a month. Morning motivation over mindless swiping.
Less gossip, more goddess energy.
Because what we feed our minds becomes the story we live.

A real glow-up means making space for joy—just because. Pick up hobbies that make you feel alive, not productive.
Pottery, dance, reading, baking for no one but you.
That woman doesn’t just glow—she creates, explores, and enjoys her own company.
So for me – I’m going to get back into drawing and dancing. What are you going to pick up?
This journey isn’t about perfection—or pretending to be someone else. It’s about becoming her by getting real with ourselves, shifting our mindset, and deciding that we’re worthy of more.
We’re not chasing a glow-up through unrealistic routines or ten-step serums that cost our rent. We’re proving that living a Livelicious life—the one we dream about—is possible through aligned, joyful, and doable steps.
Yes, we love the La Mer, Dior, and Hermès of this world. But we don’t need them to become the most magnetic, feminine, confident versions of ourselves.
It starts in the mind. Once you believe you can become that woman, every other step becomes clear.
And that’s exactly what we’ll explore in the coming weeks:
- Recipes that nourish you—and impress your girls at brunch
- Outfit inspiration for every mood and moment
- Skincare hacks that glow without breaking the bank
- Books that shift your perspective
- Plans for girls’ nights, solo dates, weekend getaways
- Hobbies that unlock joy
- Journaling that’s actually fun (and cute)
And so much more…
Every woman has the power to become the most charismatic, beautiful, and desirable version of herself. And together, we’re going to prove it—the Livelicious way.
