

The Paloma reminds us of our trip to Crete, where we got to know the bar owner and his lovely team. We’d never even heard of the drink before, but he swore by his version. “You haven’t lived until you’ve had my Paloma,” he said, with a grin. He was right.
Ever since then, we’ve fallen in love with this refreshing blend of grapefruit and tequila.
Ingredients:
- 50 ml tequila (blanco)
- 10 ml fresh lime juice
- 60 ml grapefruit juice (fresh if possible)
- 10 ml simple syrup (or agave syrup, optional)
- Sparkling water to top
- Pinch of salt (optional)Grapefruit wedge for garnish
Instructions:
- Rim a glass with salt if desired. Fill it with ice.
- Add tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and syrup. Stir gently.
- Top with sparkling water.
- Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
